Commercial & Wedding LUTs/Presets

CA$25.00

A versatile 7 pack of 3 Lightroom presets and 4 LUTs I use for my commercial and wedding projects.

I prefer to keep my styling quite light and timeless, so these presets and LUTs will give you a nice starting point where you can easily stylize the image to your liking if you want warmer/cooler tones or more contrast. Sometimes I tweak the greens to either more muted or puncy depending on mood of the project.

Just remember that less is more and it’s easier to shape an image from a clean foundation rather than adding a preset that’s too stylized.

I was also lucky enough to be hired to photograph marketing content for HX Expeditions’ cruise to Antarctica.

It was a wild ride (an extremely comfortable one with great food onboard). Absolutely beautiful landscapes and penguins are the cutest f*cking thing ever!

From that trip and inspiration from my friend Will’s Kodak Gold photos, I made an emulation of my own in addition to a clean and black and white version that are versatile for lifestyle and product shots as well.

  1. A clean version I deliver to my clients and can be used for products, interiors and anytime you just want a slight grade with a good pop of colour.

  2. A Kodak Gold emulation based of film photos Will took during our trip. I chose to go slightly more aqua with the blues because I prefer that, but if you wanted an even more true Kodak Gold, I would tune the blues towards true blue/purple and for that extra step of real film, you could put your photos into Photoshop and add a slight gaussian blur (0.5). Please note that I left the exposure slider untouched so you can tune to liking. Same with the temp slider. I would add more warmth to the image to your liking.

  3. A black and white version. Again, based off of Will’s film shots with some extra grain.

I really liked how this set came out and I hope you’ll enjoy them, too! Remember that the exposure and temperature really change the look/feel so play with that.

*Quick tip: When you need to increase your shadows, raise the “blacks” slider first and then if you need more, raise the “shadows”. Doing it this way creates a softer rise in the darks to avoid that over-edited HDR look.

Atomic LUTs

These are basically presets for video. Remember to play with amount as LUTs typically don’t need to be applied at 100% (I usually use around 30-40%). And if you’re shooting in LOG, you’ll need to use a correction LUT first. I find the free ones from your camera’s manufacturer will do the trick.

  1. Atomic Cool: Overall, a cooler tone. Cleaner whites, a touch blue. Quite neutral.

  2. Atomic Nostalgia: Touch of green tint and warmth for a lightly styled look that feels more filmic.

  3. Atomic Punch: A bit more saturated colours and standard. Nothing crazy for when you want a simple true to life look.

  4. Atomic Warmth: More stylized with a warm wash overall. You can tune to taste with the temperature slider.

Once you purchase, you’ll get a text file with a download link.

Happy editing and thanks for the support! ✌🏽
