Preserving the voices of the ones you love.

I’m here to help document the ones you love and to push you to Dad Cam more!

When I became a dad, time started zooming by faster than I could comprehend. I couldn’t help but hyper-documenting my little girl growing up and everything happening in our lives.

Even though I’ve always been one to document our family life, there was this new feeling of needing to express things in video (so that if something should happen to us) my little girl would know a bit about us and how much we love her.

We started doing family update videos like a little podcast or vlog and I this got me thinking about how family interviews would be something fun and meaningful for other families.

I did a few pilot interviews with some parents, grandparents, and even friend’s kiddos at the cottage.

Being able to connect with people to hear their childhood stories, parenting and life’s challenges — I just loved everything about it!

These interviews are meant to be a meaningful, lighthearted experience designed to capture the essence of the people you love or the stage of life they’re in.

Sometimes we can’t express deeply enough or directly to our family, so being interviewed offers an outlet that helps open up these conversations.

This video service is for yourself or anyone you love and I don't want to say you should do this for your parents before it's too late, but that's the uncomfortable truth of life.

But it’s also for certain life milestones, birthdays, graduations, or yearly like family photos.

The result: A guided conversation that uncovers and preserving the life of the ones you love for you and the next generation.

Meet Nonna

“Bound us across continents and generations.

Even when she’s gone, we’ll find her in the tomato stains on an apron.

And the way she set the table and the smell of roasted garlic drifting down the hall.

Because some recipes aren’t written down — they’re remembered in the heart.”

This interview was at Nonna’s charming home with her 4 daughters.

We had a lovely conversation about what life was like in the early days in Italy, but also in coming to Canada.

Sam, one of her grandsons, wrote a beautiful poem for Nonna that really shows how much she is loved and how Nonna’s cooking brings the family together.

At the end, Nonna grabbed my face and said, “I’ll never forget you”.

The whole afternoon was truly heartwarming and what an honour to be able to create this keepsake video for their family.

Rescuing memories from your camera roll.

You’ve got 4,372 videos on your phone.
Half of them are 6 seconds long.
Most of them you’ll never watch again.

But inside that messy camera roll?
First steps. Bedtime giggles. Backyard chaos. The funny way your kid says “yogurt” (Milly called it “woo waa”).

You send me your iPhone footage.
I turn it into a watchable mini episode.

I organize the chaos and create a moment you can actually revisit.

Instead of thousands of forgotten clips, think of these files like digital VHS tapes.

Something you can AirPlay to the TV.
Something your kids will watch when they’re 25.
Something that feels like a time capsule instead of a storage problem.

Your memories deserve better than living in the cloud.

A Notion template with 46 prompts to train your Dad Cam eye to see life’s moments and help you find the fun in documenting it all.

The Dad Cam is a mindset, it’s not just for dads. It’s whoever enjoys capturing all the memories. Because one day, it’ll be all we have left.

It’s also great for us introverts who don’t want to socialize at children events, so we can just document to give us something to do. 🤣

So let’s get filming and remember, there’s no right or wrong way to Dad Cam! And it can be photos, too so document however feels easiest and frictionless.

I am working on content to help you edit, so connect with me over on Instagram @dadcamclub.co to learn more editing/filming tips!

What’s the interview process like?

With adults, we’ll start chronologically with childhood leading up to parenthood, while chatting about details along the way.

With kids, we’ll keep it light, but meaningful with a fun convo.

I’ll also have a phone conversation with whoever is booking to learn a bit about the interviewee and topics to mention or avoid before the interview session.

This video is meant to help us understand our parents/kids a little better and to have a keepsake that would likely not exist if not nudged to do something like this.

Just like I do for my wedding couples, it’s the idea of hearing and seeing our loved ones in video that will help immortalize them and serve as our time machine once they’re gone.

Conversations are typically 45 minutes or so (in home or studio) and if you have family photos or home videos you’d like to share with me as B-roll for the video, I’ll gladly include them into the final edit. Having these extra memories to add to the video really does make it truly special.

You’ll receive a custom webpage where the video will be hosted for easy sharing and links to download your video. I’ll also snap a few photos for you while we’re together.
