Antarctica Kodak Gold Lightroom Preset (3 pack)
I was lucky enough to be hired to photograph marketing content for HX Expeditions’ cruise to Antarctica.
It was a wild ride (an extremely comfortable one with great food onboard). Absolutely beautiful landscapes and penguins are the cutest f*cking thing ever!
This set of 3 Lightroom presets includes:
A clean version I deliver to my clients and can be used for products, interiors and anytime you just want a slight grade with a good pop of colour.
A Kodak Gold emulation based of film photos Will took during our trip. I chose to go slightly more aqua with the blues because I prefer that, but if you wanted an even more true Kodak Gold, I would tune the blues towards true blue/purple and for that extra step of real film, you could put your photos into Photoshop and add a slight gaussian blur (0.5). Please note that I left the exposure slider untouched so you can tune to liking. Same with the temp slider. I would add more warmth to the image to your liking.
A black and white version. Again, based off of Will’s film shots with some extra grain.
I really liked how this set came out and I hope you’ll enjoy them, too! Remember that the exposure and temperature really change the look/feel so play with that.
*Quick tip: When you need to increase your shadows, raise the “blacks” slider first and then if you need more, raise the “shadows”. Doing it this way creates a softer rise in the darks to avoid that over-edited HDR look.
Hope you like and thanks for the support. ◡̈
