Antarctica Lightroom Preset
I was lucky enough to be hired to photograph marketing content for HX Expeditions’ cruise to Antarctica.
It was a wild ride (an extremely comfortable one with great food onboard). Absolutely beautiful landscapes and penguins are the cutest f*cking thing ever!
These photos were edited with this Lightroom preset. I added a grain version in for you as well. I personally like some grain, but I also keep an edit clean for my commercial clients.
Also, know that presets are never a one-click solution. It provides a base to help things pop, but you will still have to exposure correct based on the photo at hand.
*Quick tip: When you need to increase your shadows, raise the “blacks” slider first and then if you need more, raise the “shadows”. Doing it this way creates a softer rise in the darks to avoid that over-edited HDR look.
