Preserving the Voices That Matter Most

Interviews of your loved ones — A Living Memoir Experience

As we become parents and as we get older, it seems like time moves faster and faster.

We realize just how short life is and while our grandparents, our parents, and the ones we love are still alive, we need to capture their stories while we still can.

Projekt Keepsake is a heartfelt interview experience designed to capture the essence of the people who shaped us — their laughter, their lessons, their love.

Through guided, thoughtful conversation, we record their memories, milestones, and moments of wisdom in their own words.

The result is a timeless keepsake — a personal audio or video memoir that families can cherish for generations.

Because memories matter. And nothing tells the story better than the voice of someone you love.

Why Interviews?

The Why

As an older dad (41), when I heard the quote, “We’ll know our children for the entirety of their lives and if we’re lucky, they’ll know us for half of ours,” it really hit me.

And even though I’ve always documented my family (back in the day with the family film camera), it’s still not the same as a guided interview where I could draw out the thoughts and experiences of the interviewee.

My initial thought was with parents, but grandparents obviously make sense, but really, anyone you love — your kids, best friends, sibilings.

In Vietnamese culture, it’s common for parents speak highly of their kids to others, but never express it directly to their kids.

I think the power of an interview with me is that I can draw out their thoughts and allow them to speak freely about life, their children and express things in ways they might not be able to otherwise.

The How

With my interviews, we start chronologically with childhood leading up to parenthood, while chatting about details along the way.

I have a list of questions to help prompt things, but I go with the flow depending on the interviewee.

Getting their perspective of life, but also their thoughts on you, the children, is an important aspect for reasons I’ve mentioned already.

This video is meant to help us understand our parents a little better and to have a keepsake that would likely not exist if not nudged to do something like this.

Just like I do for my wedding couples, it’s the idea of hearing and seeing our loved ones in video that will help immortalize them and serve as our time machine once they’re gone.

It truly is a privilege to capture these stories for your family.
