Now that I have a daughter, seeing Katie’s dad’s reaction to seeing her in her dress for the first time gave me all kinds of flash-forward memories.
I’m envisioning how I would react to seeing my little Milly all grown up and having a daughter has made me so much more sentimental than I already was.
Having a little girl has also made weddings even more enjoyable now that I can really empathize with special moments like these. Weddings carry much more meaning to me now.
And, what’s special is that Thomas’ dad also got emotional while talking about how proud he was of their relationship, which again, I thought was so amazing since my dad and I have a close relationship, as well.
Today, the dads were the emotional ones and it was so lovely to see.
