Farmhouse Kitchen Reno | Seaforth, Ontario

I teamed up with Sarah to capture photos and a video tour of her recent kitchen reno project in Seaforth.

She was able to update this farmhouse kitchen while keeping it in a style that suits the property, but more importantly, did justice to a home that’s been in the family for generations.

For this shoot, we kept it nice and simple by clipping a Sony TX660 to Sarah’s shirt. I typically use the Tascam DR10L lav mic, but wanted to try this for simplicity and the audio turned out great!

Using my Moza Aircross 2 with a follow focus and shooting the XT3 in F-Log, I was able to get steady tracking shots while maximizing dynamic range, which is needed when you have such large windows and no interior fill lights.

I don’t know why I didn’t start using F-Log years ago! It’s been incredible.

Anyways, enjoy the photos and tour. The before photos always get me. So cool to see what Sarah is able to do with this space.

Shot with:

  • Fujifilm XT3, XT4

  • Viltrox 23mm 1.4, 56mm 1.4

  • Moza Aircross 2

  • Sony TX660

  • DJI Mini 2 drone
